So we are
Sole y Goita is a small family business dedicated to the breeding, production and sale of our meats and sausages in a natural way.
Our story begins with our grandparents' shop in the tiny town of La Rioja, in Munilla (Spain). They used the lower part of the house as a butcher shop and the 'somero' (the upper part of the house) to dry sausages.
Together with the sale of fresh meat that they raised themselves, they took advantage of the good mountain air to make sausages.
In 1950 the store moved to the Plaza de Abastos in Logroño, the capital of La Rioja. In this location, the grandparents leave the business in the hands of two of their daughters, Sole and Goíta, who continue the tradition of making sausages in a small sausage factory where we continue today.
The third generation also establishes a farm in the Sierra Riojana, in Daroca de Rioja to raise and feed our own extensive cattle.
